“ We had only booked a half-day tour, because the full-day tour was fully booked. Nevertheless, it was a great tour. We have snorkelled at the beautiful beaches and have even seen ray fishes and a turtle beside colourful fish! This island trip is also perfect for families with kids!

Great tour to a beautiful island with amazing beaches and lots of sea life - perfect for snorkelling.

Great half-day tour on Fitzroy Island with my family.

Great half-day tour. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We chose this half-day to suit our toddler and it worked out very well. Water was picture-perfect. Easy walk to Nudey Beach and great food and drink in between. Will book again. Thank you!!!!

Fun day and a beautiful island. Enjoyable day. Picturesque scenery.

Delayed 'technical issue' departure, but once on our way, the trip was great. The boat ride to/from was easy - thank you Lochie. Overall the staff & the island were really nice and helpful. Enjoyed the 30-minute Glass Bottom boat trip with Keegan. Enjoyed a delicious fish and chips lunch at Roxys Bar overlooking the water. Had a nice swim (no stinger suit as it was the end of stinger season) at the beach near the jetty. I would advise wearing aqua beach shoes as the beach is mostly coral (tough on the feet) and not sandy.

Half day Fitzroy Island, wished I could have stayed longer!

Ferry was fantastic, sailing was smooth and staff were very professional. Weather was amazing. A beautiful day on the island where I snorkelled for 95% of the time!! Coral and fish were beautiful! Wished I could have stayed longer... half day was too short!

Great island and smooth transfer experience. Friendly staff answer logistics questions.

Easy booking and boarding pass straight to phone. If only everyone in line had boarding pass ready, since line was long and check in slow. Boats get quite full leaving limited seats if you don't arrive early. I have to write more characters so I'm just rambling at this point.

Half day with snorkelling and glass bottom boat. We enjoyed our day but we did feel it was quite rushed trying to fit it all in. The glass bottom boat was a disappointment for us please read the review as to why.

I went to Fitzroy Island with my husband and two children. The ferry across was great and very well run. The island is beautiful. Just a couple of things however: - when booking a half day tour it should be clear that if you add on both snorkelling and glass bottom boat and have young children or a child with physical limitations, that you probably won’t have much time to do it all. - I think it should be clearly written on the booking website that Nudey beach is difficult to access if you have any physical limitations. We were not aware of this at all until we arrived and my daughter has a physical impairment. - Unfortunately for us the glass bottom boat was a disappointment. We were sitting at the far end and there was not enough weight at our end for it to be submerged so we were essentially looking through the top of the water and did not have a clear view at all. To be honest that was a waste of money for us. There should be a focus on seating people evenly so that it isn’t heavier on one end.

Great little island. Suitable for all ages. 45min boat ride.

Great place to visit. Suitable for all ages young to old. Goggles, snorkels and flippers are a little pricey to hire. Not the best place to see coral and sea life suggest pontoon for this. Half day was long enough. Beautiful views and waters. 45 min boat ride from Cairns.

The staff on the ferry were amazing

The staff on the ferry were amazing. Fitzroy Island was absolutely beautiful. The only thing was the boat was running late which caused us to not have enough time on the island which was disappointing. Other than that it was a beautiful experience well done.

Fitzroy Island is beautiful

Fitzroy Island is beautiful. Check-in was easy. The crew on the ferry were very nice. The water is very clear and the staff of the general store on the island were great. The only downside was that it was a very hot day and the aircon in the boat was not big enough to cool the cabin down.

Lovely quick trip

Lovely quick trip, well organised, beautiful weather, the island could have better toilet facilities as the 3 toilets had a line up even though it’s offseason. The food line at foxy was long and the food was average. Overall the island itself was beautiful.
